1st Army advanced 55 miles and fought seven major battles. The battle
of Valenciennces (Picardy) is officially recorded as having been fought
on the 1st and 2nd of November.
Died on Friday 31st October 1918, Thomas Rosser is buried at
Valenciennes cemetery, France.
